FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

This page gives you information about the order process and technical help to our programs.
Hopefully you can find a solution for your problem. For comments regarding requested software
features, software bug notifications, or just general discussion and comments: Visit the Forum

ORDER PROCESS

You have already purchased one of our games and lost your registration informations
If you have already purchased one of our games you don't need to purchase again.
Just write us a EMail and we send you again your registration informations. When you send us
a EMail don't forget to include the name of the Licensee, ref.no. and which software you have
ordered. If you have a new e-mail address please add your old e-mail address to your mail text, too.

You have ordered but have not received registration information yet
You will receive within 48hrs an e-mail from bksoft with the further registration information
in form of a registration code or a file attachment.

Using bank transfer or check it takes sometimes 2-3 days for the transaction to clear.
A confirmation email will be sent by Share-It/PayPal when the payment has been accepted.
The delivery is carried out within 48hrs then, however mostly faster.

E-MAIL

You got no e-mail response from bksoft within 48hrs
All e-mail accounts

Normally we answer to your mails within 48hrs, however mostly faster.
If you do not receive an email from bksoft within 48hrs, there may be a problem with
your e-mail address. E.g. you spelled it wrong or your mailbox is over quota.

Another reason can be that some mailservers move unknown e-mails to a seperate SPAM
folder so please look also to that folder. Maybe you need to allow info@bksoft.de to send
you e-mail messages.

Right now we know this e-mail services are blocking our mails:
att.net , bellsouth.net , mchsi.com, comcast.net
So if you use one of that services you have to go to your mailbox settings and enable
info@bksoft.de to send you mails, or let us know a other email address...

99,9% of all e-mail problems arise from wrongly configured mail accounts (SPAM blockers)!
Again, be sure to look to your mailbox SPAM folder and add info@bksoft.de to your white list!!!

You can test receiving our mails by using our EMail form. The EMail form sends automatically
and immediately a copy to the sender address. If you get no copy of your mail your SPAM Filter
blocks that mail!!! Go to your mailbox SPAM settings and add info@bksoft.de to your white list,
then try again our mail form.

TECHNICAL HELP

General tip:
All programs

Every program comes with a manual (windows-startmenu, program-name), or press the F1
key while program is running. You can find special hints about known problems and tips
to avoid them in the manual.

Un-Install the program and install it again. Use the newest setup file from our website!

Close open applications to free resources and relieve cpu usage,
also programms running in the background like office startmenu and so on...

install the newest available sound and graphics driver onto your system.

install the newest M$ Service Packs and Windows-Updates

Sometimes it is a good idea and very helpful to ask a good friend with PC experience...

The game closes when you click onto the first card
Fun-Towers

The filesize of the game has changed. First check your system for new viruses.
The problem can be solved by installing again the current version.
You can install over the old installation so the hiscore stays.

You see a double screen in the game or the coordinates of the graphics output are moved.
Zoggi, Fun-Towers, HotSeven

Set the standard graphics resolution of your graphics card back to 96 dpi.
(right mouse click to the desktop, properties, settings, extended,
and set the font size back to normal size 96 dpi).

This can also happen when you have 'big fonts' settings with your graphics card.
Change your graphic cards settings back to 'windows standard'.
(right mouse click to the desktop, properties, display, windows standard scheme).

The main menu is not visible
12th Century BlackJack, 3D PokerBandit, Fun-Towers

The main menu can not be seen with a graphics resolution of 800x600 or smaller
because the game itself uses the whole screen. Set your graphics resolution
to 1024x768 pixel! The frequency should be the maximum of what your monitor supports.

Or just use the pop-up menu (right mouse click)

Keywriter
3D PokerBandit, Eleven

E.g. Eleven:
First mark your regestration code with the mouse: point at the beginning of the registration code,
hold down the left mouse button and move down one line. The line becomes completely blue...
then right click on that marked line and select "copy" or use the main menu of your mail program
to copy the code.

Now launch the Eleven keywriter: press the windows-start-button, all programs, Eleven Home Edition,
Eleven keywriter... In Eleven keywriter press the "paste" and finally the "register" button.

This is how it must look within the keywriter:

If the unregistered message appears you did not enter the key correctly! Don't type in the code,
mark and copy it with the mouse as described!

Using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you have maybe to run the keywriter with Administrator rights.
Do a right mouse click on the keywriter link in the windows startmenu, then select "run as administrator"

License Manager
Licht24 Pro, Fun-Towers, HotSeven

E.g. Licht24 Pro:
First mark your regestration code with the mouse: point at the beginning of the registration code,
hold down the left mouse button and move down one line. The line becomes completely blue...
then right click on that marked line and select "copy" or use the main menu of your mail program
to copy the code.

Now run the license manager: press the windows-start-button, all programs, Licht24 Pro, Register...
In the license manager first enter your name (upper / lower case!), then press the "paste" and
finally the "register" button.

This is how it must look within the license manager:

If the unregistered message appears you did not enter your name (upper / lower case!) or the key correctly!
Don't type in the code, mark and copy it with the mouse as described above.

Using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you have maybe to run the keywriter with Administrator rights.
Do a right mouse click on the keywriter link in the windows startmenu, then select "run as administrator"

You kan find the register.exe also in the program installations directory, normally
c:\Program Files (x86)\PROGRAM_NAME\register.exe
where PROGRAM_NAME is e.g. FunTowers

Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 / Windows 11
All programs

If you have problems running one of our programs on Windows systems you have to start the
program in compatibility mode and with Administrator rights. To configure the compatibility mode for an
application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe, selecting Properties from the menu.

Select the Compatibility tab:

Maybe you have to add also writing rights to the program directory.

Partner program

Our partner programm gives you the possibility of advertising for our products.
You simply integrate an advertising banner or a text link to our website on your
home page. Every time somebody clicks onto the link and buys something on
our page you get a commission.
